Purpose
We are committed to preventing our platform from being used for money laundering, terrorist financing or other financial crime. This policy summarises the principles we apply.
Know Your Customer (KYC)
We may ask customers to verify their identity and, where required, their address. Typical requests include:
- A valid government-issued photo ID.
- Proof of address, such as a recent utility bill or bank statement.
- Additional information where activity or the payment method calls for it.
Providing accurate and current information is a condition of using our services.
Monitoring and screening
We monitor account activity and transactions for unusual patterns and may screen customers against sanctions and politically exposed persons lists. We may delay, refuse or reverse transactions that appear suspicious.
Source of funds and payments
Deposits must come from payment methods held in your own name. We may request evidence of the source of funds, and may require withdrawals to be returned to the method used for deposit. See the payment policy.
Record keeping and reporting
We keep identification and transaction records for the period required by applicable law, and we report suspicious activity to the relevant authorities where we are legally obliged to do so.
